As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and growth for Alaark. You will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, building strong relationships, and ultimately closing sales deals. This position involves proactive outreach, lead qualification, and providing exceptional customer service.
1. Ensure timely and accurate quote entry, quote turnaround, and quote follow up.
2. Ensure complete and accurate order entry of all new jobs in a timely manner.
3. Prospect and Generate Leads:
• Identify potential customers through various sources, including cold calling, email campaigns, and market research.
• Develop a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets.
4. Conduct Product/Service Presentations:
• Clearly articulate the features and benefits of our products/services to potential customers.
• Tailor product presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of prospects.
5. Build and Maintain Customer Relationships:
• Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
6. Sales Quota Achievement:
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Consistently track and report progress on sales goals.
7. Follow Sales Processes:
• Adhere to established sales processes, including the use of CRM software and other sales tools.
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.
8. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
9. Collaborate with Sales Team and other departments:
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members of other departments to align efforts and share insights.
• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Proven inside sales experience or a strong desire to pursue a career in sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of equipment manufacturing is a plus.
