Jenkins is approaching 100 years in business, beginning in 1916 with the combination of three companies: Jenkins Machine Company, Falls Machine Company and E.B. Hayes Machine Company. Hayes was the inventor of the double-end tenoner machine. Jenkins became a leader in the custom woodworking industry.
In 1984, Jenkins integrated computer numerical control (CNC) to the double end machining center, its most popular woodworking product. Since then, Jenkins has applied advanced technology to all of its machinery lines to constantly improve capacity, accuracy and functionality.
